We are ACF

Adventist Christian Fellowship (ACF) @ IU, is a group of students devoted to community, service, and collective growth in the Word of God. We are committed to the Seventh-day Adventist faith and committed to building individuals in the word of God and preparing a people for the soon coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have several activities including Sabbath worship, Friday evening bible studies, prayer meetings, game nights, hiking; and open, insightful conversations. Meals are served in our meetings as well.

ACF @ IU has various service opportunities throughout the year such as volunteering at homeless shelters. We also venture out to campus evangelism conferences within the United States and are connected with sister organizations at nearby American universities.

We welcome you to join our family!

Vice President

Hi, my name is Moseti Matundura, and I am in French Linguistics. I am from Kenya, and my future goals are teaching and preaching. I like reflective reading, riding, walking, or watching.

Hi! My name is Edward Asirifi Yeboah, and I am originally from Kumasi, Ghana. I am currently pursuing an M.S.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs. My ambition is to become a professor in Higher Education while shaping a dynamic career at the intersection of IT and computing. I am passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others and leaving a positive mark on the world. Outside the classroom and my faith community, I am an avid soccer and Cristiano Ronaldo’s fan. His drive and leadership never fail to inspire me

Outreach Coordinator

Hi, my name is John Musila, and I’m a graduate student in Music Theory at Jacobs, originally from Kenya. My long-term goals are to continue developing as a musician, educator, mentor, and scholar, and outside of music. I enjoy reading and exploring new music, engaging in thought-provoking conversations with people from various backgrounds (especially theological ones), and nature walks.

Secretary

Hi, my name is Lavinia Nyagaka, and I am an Intelligent Systems Engineering major. I’m from Kenya! I am still exploring my career trajectory, but I’m looking to go back to Kenya and improve the technological field there. My favorite hobby has to be reading people’s journals, professional writers, or other. Reading people’s perspectives on life interests me!

Treasurer

Hi, my name is Xinyue Wei, and I’m a violinist from China currently pursuing my Master of Music degree. I love playing and teaching violin, and I hope to become a violin teacher in the future. Outside of music, I enjoy playing badminton and spending time with friends.
